I have it hooked up to my computer, but I'm worried that if I disconnect it the settings on my ipod will be messed up. It is a pink ipod nano if that helps any

That's normal. Be sure to eject the nano from itunes with the little arrow and line to the right of your nano's name. You can also disconnect it when Itunes is not running.

Look at iTunes. Does it show your iPod in the index in the left as connected? If it is not downloading music or recharging the battery, you can just click on the eject symbol (up-arrowhead)

If non of that applies, just leave it there for a few hours and let the iPod batteries charge up. and then disconnect.

the do not disconnect symbol mainly applies if you are dowloading data files. if you're not, or if you are connected to a computer that does not have iTunes, you can just disconnect and mot likely nothing will happen. (it happened to me once, and nothing happened)

it's loading new music or settings onto your ipod. if you disconnect nothing will happen except that new music/photo's won't be loaded on

it is fine just leave it in there if u want it to charge u can disconnect it
