As a professional Makeup Artist I would have to say go with a Bronzy copper eye or a Gold Tone eyeshadow. If you use MAC look at colors like Amber Lights, Texture, Goldmine. Use Goldmine lightly. The others you can use with a stiff brush to provide more color.
If you need a crease color use Brown Down by MAC or Embark, or Folie. They will make Abmer lights and Texture pop on your eye. For a line go with MAC Black Engraved and for a full cury lengthening mascara go with Dior in DiorShow.

the thing is, red is a maaaaaad loud color, so you need to just use a sheer, taupy, shimery shade. that will still look great on your skin tone, have the exact same thing, but it wont make you look like you're wearing a ridiculous amount of make-up or anything like that. a little bit of a gold shimmer would do great also, and if you need to improvise, using a bllush-brush to put a loose shimmery bronzer instead works perfect.

I don't think brown eyeshadow does a thing for brown eyes! Too much brown. Try a soft beige or taupe, combined with a gold. You need some contrast from too much brown.

i agree with the brown or a gold color, i wear a goldish color when i wear red, and if u also have gold and brown in your shoes, u can tie everything together with those colors

Please please plese DO NOT wear bright colored eye shadow with a red top. Do something pretty and nuetural. You will look so much prettier if you wear nice natural colored make up. You can still make it look very nice and pretty without putting lots of color in it. Matching your make up to your outfit should stop after you hit sixteen.

I would go with natural hues. Iridescent are always nice. That is natural hues that are iridescent; to add a bit of sparkle.
