This girl always says I feel sorry for you.
But she really doesn't. But what should I say?

If something is going on in your life that this other person is making the comment about that is worthy of her sorrow for you simply thank her for her kindness. If the comment is out of the blue for no reason, thank her but let her know in a kind way every thing is O.K. in your life and there's nothing for her to be sorry about.

You cannot really know what's in another person's heart, but even if she isn't really sorry, that says something about her, not you, so choose to not take offense, how you respond says something about you, so respond with kindness and love. God Bless you for seeking the right way to respond. Rick

She's trying to show empathy. Or she's being sarcastic.

What should you say?

Try: "Why? I love my life."

"No you don't; Why say something you don't mean?"
