i just got out of a year and a half relationship
im dating someone new now
i dont want to mess this one up
in my last one, i was kinda controlling, jelous
and wanted him all for myself. and started fights
what are the best ways to stop this
i cant help its my personality
but i dont want to go from person to person
because of this. Can i ever change?

Chill. Trust the guy, cuz if he really loves you, we won't cheat on you. Show him how special he is to you, and he'll feel that way towards you, too. About the control issue...I'm in a relationship, and that's kinda what's happening right now, she's kinda "Do this!" "Do that!" "Go here!". lol. I just take it. If you find a really nice guy, he won't mind you having that much control. I've been going out with my gf for 7 months, and been everything's fine up to this point (although I did piss her off a few times....)

Based on the fact that you posted this in 'Computers and Internet' the chances don't look good.
Just be as nice as you can be and when you feel yourself being jealous stop yourself. Despite what you think you can change, people change every day and you can too.

I don't think you can change those traits, but if you don't want to screw this one up you better try. Actually communication is your best recourse. If you openly talk about your concerns and listen to his feedback you might find that your jealousy is unfounded.

No need to change, just find a guy who loves you for who you are and can deal with it. Why do you need to change?
