I feel badly for you because it sounds like you suffer from alcoholism. Many people look down on these individuals, which is wrong. It is an illness like any other, for which they need help. God is there with you but God can only help those who are willing to help themselves. I suggest you get out your phone book and look up Alcoholic Anonymous. Call them and I promise you, they will help you and get you back on your feet. Don't be ashamed to call. You'll be doing the right thing......God told me to tell you that. Please email me if you need to talk or need further assistance. I am willing to help you.

God is a miracle worker, but there's still something in the way: the pathetic devil. he causes some things that happen in ur life, not all of them, but some. & if u've went 2 church be4, i'm guessing u've heard them say that it counts on *u* 2 decide whether u want 2 go 2 Heaven or hell. i'm not saying that drinking means ur going 2 hell, but i'm trying 2 make a point. not everything should be depended on God. he's done enough wonderful things 4 us in life, so don't expect him 2 do more by stopping ur drinking addiction.
it all counts on u now. it's ur decision now, not God's. he wants *u* 2 be the one 2 stop ur drinking addiction, not him. read the bible every night & maybe that will take ur mind off drinking. do more things daily, so that u don't feel the need 2 drink. keep gum in ur mouth at all times. & if the drinking doesn't stop, go 2 rehab, but keep God FIRST! he's the key 2 everything.
good luck* God bless*

Most of the writers have already said it... God gave you a free will. He also gave you a savior and it is by Grace that you are saved. If we were perfect, would we still need him?
I am unfortunately am in the same boat, I stop for awhile...then its down the hatch and down the tubes for me too. I end up staying away from Church and hide my "shame" from the true Friends that can help.
The "Truth will set you free" while that can be read as Gods truth from the Word... it is also by Telling the truth that you will find healing.
What good is a lying... oh I am so perfect Christian anyway? You know the ones at Church..with painted smiles! Truth is We "ALL" have fallen short. Stop beating your self up over it. Get with other Godly men and build each other up.

It may be an addiction that you have and need help to overcome the thought patterns that you have to handle stress in your life.

Because he doesn't have control of your lfe, you do. Even if God was here right now, would he be able to stand by you everyday and make sure you stayed on the wagon? It's up to you pal to change your lifestyle. God does help those who help themselves.

God is not just gonna cure you. You need to find an AA meeting to go to . You can , however, ask Christ to help you through this struggle by praying.

He has no control of you and what you do. It is up to you to seek the help to stop. You need to attend AA or counseling. You can however pray to him.
Physically it is up to you to attend some classes and get the help you need.

Because there is no god. You have to find the way of controlling the booze. Go to AA, or another counselor. You are self medicating.
