The answer is yes they should play their starters. But not for the entire game. They should get them enough play time to where they get the rust off from previous weeks games. Look at it this way. The Bears have the best record in the NFC, have clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs, so why worry about a loss to the Packers if that happens? I understand it is a rivalry game but what is more important to Bears fans, a win over the Packers, or a Super Bowl Ring?

Although a Packers loss from my perspective would be nice because a Packers and Giants loss combined with a Panthers win, puts the Panthers in the playoffs : )

i think of he will unquestionably play his starters. specific, they have a assured bye, yet, there's no longer something the Bears like extra suitable than beating the Packers, and Lovie Smith takes the contention very heavily. there's no longer something extra the Bears could like than to knock the Packers out of the playoffs (granted the Giants ought to win for that besides). The Bears could easily hate to play the Packers interior the playoffs, so they in all probability desire to purpose to maintain them out as much as they could. I see the Bears going all-out this week.

The only real reason to this game is to see if they "should play" Grossman or Greise. You just know Greise is gonna get some playing time. Cedric Benson should see alot of time too.

Yes play the starters - otherwise you risk going into the play offs flat. Haven't we already learned that lesson?

I'd say no. They already have division and home field clinched. Why take a chance on getting someone hurt.

have grossman run it up the middle every time until he gets hurt. then we can say 'to bad you were hurt' while we win the super bowl.

GO BEARS!!! praying every game grossman gets lucky.
