My fiancee came from school for the Holiday weekend. He's staying at his mom's house and her house is only 2 minutes from mine. He's been here 6 days and I've seen him once for 10 minutes. So I told him last night in a very nice way and he says "oh babe I'm sorry". That's it! Does he not get it???!!! Oh, but god forbid I ask him for time away from his mother because then he accuses me of being jealous of her.....

depends on the guy and the sitution. like personally im real laid back when it come to somethings but in other areas i can zoom in on the most tiny detail. also some guys fake it, like i am rather detail oreinted but if you saw me youd say im the laziest bum ever, and yet i get straight As. any way if you are a very detailed person i would recomned laid back guys cause if you get into a person that into detail like you u will end up at each others throats. i know from expirience. and any way it not just guys. i have seen chicks so laid back youd think they would have fallen over. any way hope this helped.

I think the main reason is that they are not in to detail and seem to have each word monitored for some strange reason.
The more they say the more they don't say It appears to me that most men are non committal in case they make a mistake with the answer or even question.
No clue as to why I think it comes programmed genetically.

Most guys are more into generalities than details because they believe they can make something happen when they know the broad ideas within the situation, rather than all the details. We think "details get in the way" and we would rather be doing something than thinking about it.

Guys are not into the little things b/c I think they just do not think of them and if they do people call them metro sexual or gay. My boyfriend use to be that way but he has gotten sooo much better and here is how I did it. I stopped paying attention to details and he was shocked and felt like I was not thinking about him. Once I got him to he that it is nice to pay attention to details he picked up right away. It can be done but it take communication.

Thats not true I like details. It makes things a lot more interesting. It's just that some times I might not be in the mood to be listening to a lot. Haven't you felt like that sometimes? When you just don't really want to hear a lot Well?

Men's brains aren't programmed to remember what your favorite color is, when the anniversay of you're first date is, etc, etc. But they can tell you what the football game's score was, how to change a tire, and what bars have the best drafts. Its all relative. You remember what you want to. He doesn't care that you like the boy shorts as opposed to thongs, all he wants to know is if you shaved or not.

Attention spans are shorter for what we view as inessential. And truth be told, most women don't know when ot shut up. I mean too much noise just makes the ears close!

Because they don't care about the little things that women care about. My boyfriend is the same way and he is really bad. I don't even waste my time BUT if he wants to blah-blah to me about his day or a situation that is bothering him, I listen BUT I do the same thing he does...ya honey uh-huh, OK, wow that sucks....what do you want for dinner. That way the next time I am having a bad day, he listens!

because guys don't see the way girls do. they think (for example) i am going to have a wedding, so i will find a churhc and get it done. on the other hand girls think (for another example) i am going to have a wedding! i need flowers, i need wedding dress, i need this and that. and so on. guys see things in blobs girls see things in details, why do you think they hire girls as secritarys or whatever? thank you for the wise question...
