It could be your Internet is slow if it's the download time you're referring to. If you're multi tasking, maybe it's your anti virus program slowing you down.

Your Internet connection is probably the problem. Especially if you have dial-up.

Most certainly sounds like its your computer. It doesn't matter who makes your computer as much as how old is your computer.
