My computer has not been working for a couple of weeks now once I tried to wipe it and the disk must have been messed up or something cause once I put it in their to try to fix it a message popped up saying that the disk is corrupted and now the I cant get even get on my desktop the screen comes up black with a little white dash at the top and now I don’t have any other disks to wipe my computer completely how can i get a free disk form the net so that i would be able to fix my computer plzzz

All I can suggest is that you find your Windows CD, place it in the CD Drive & restart your PC.
It will begin with user friendly steps to help you reinstall Windows.
From what you tell us it appears that Windows was corrupted & needs to be reinstalled.
At this point there is no indication of any hardware failure.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
