In town and not looking for a fast food joint, but a decent sit down with great food. Does not have to be upscale casual will do as well.

Bone Daddy's House of Smoke, at US75 and Spring Valley. Great food, big portions, and cute, friendly waitresses dressed in very short shorts and unzipped-to-there tops tied off above a bare midriff.

For some real eye candy Bone Daddy's is the place. The BBQ ribs are pretty good as well.

The best BBQ is Red Hot and Blue.

I like Dickey's BBQ the best.

I also frequent Shady Oak BBQ in Ft. Worth (I think they have mult. locations)has a great atmosphere with a patio and fire pit outside, decent BBQ, good fried pickles and happy hour 7 days a week till 6 or 7pm.

guidelive.com lists all of the restaurants in dallas. it includes star ratings, pricing, locations, etc. personally my fav is Odom's BBQ. however, it's not a sit down casual place. it's more like a hole in the wall sorta thing. food is DELICIOUS!

I would have to say that Spring Creek BBQ(a.k.a. Shady Oak BBQ) is some of the best food overall.

The ribs at Houston's are to die for! Pricey, but to me, they are the best. Other than that, I'd say you had to go to Angelo's in Ft. Worth for the next best.
