I sure don't. I want government limited to its specified powers in the Constitution. The essence of freedom is the limitation of government.

No. But the devil's in the details.

I want the government to regulate what gets put into food that's sold to me. I want government to regulate what is dumped into the river near my home.

Basically, once the IRS was established we lost a great deal of freedom. Their investigative powers make the Patriot Act look like child's play!

No, I am perfectly capable of deciding what substances I should or should not be putting into my body. I don't need the government in my bedroom. In fact, the only thing I need the government for is National Defense and infrastructure. The Government should not be in the business of handing out money to people who are too lazy to work. Less government equals more freedom. Pretty easy equation.

No one does. But what they want regulated depends on their political philosophy. Conservatives want the government to be the Bedroom Police.

I don`t want the government making my shoes but I do want the government to be able to oversee the private corporation that is making my shoes. The government is us "We the People" not some boogie man, just sometimes we get bad apples. I will take government rule over corporate rule any day.

Government doesn't regulate everything. Please give a specific example of a regulation that has directly stopped you from living freely in our nation.

Our Government's job is to protect it's citizens, and that's all. So, I think they need to get out of Health Care, Abortion, Social Security, and other personal issues. They have indeed infiltrated some things we do in life, but thank God, not every phase of our lives...........so far.
