Thers's this cutie at my gym..and everytime I see him, he always smiles and conversates with me, and he laughs at all my cornball jokes,and then yesterday, he was walking with some lady, and when he seen me he was cheesing, and he told me I looked good, and asked how my christmas was? I know this is immature, but is what he's doing flirting? And how would you interpret that?

Don't be to quick on thinking that he is sexually attracted to you!!!
Some people are just plain friendly. And some times they like others just for other reasons. We often are very quick to think is a possible sexual attraction. I'm not saying that is not.
Just keep talking to him, and find out more by LETTING HIM
do the talking. That would be the only way, you will find out.
If he ask you for your phone number, ask you out for a movie or
just a stroll in the park, be open to just knowing him better as a friend.
Who knows probably he is just looking for a good friendship
and who knows in the future after you both give each other a chance to discover each other probably, you find romance.
But most definitely having a good friend, could last a life time.
Having a romance doesn't necessarily means it would be good or it would last.
Anyway, having some one paying all that attention to you is always welcome, we all need lots of smiles, to keep us also smiling!!! You most be a very approachable person, and he sees in you positives characteristics which are calling his attention.

Okay, I'm just a dumb 42 year-old guy, but what exactly is "cheesing?" I would watch how he behaves with others. If he behaves this way with all people (both men and women), it is possible he is just an overly friendly person. I have told a man before that he looked good or handsome. It doesn't necessarily equate to flirting.

Flirting, yes. But, flirting doesn't mean he's interested in a relationship, so be careful. He could just think you are a cool person and looks for friendship only.
