Sometimes its rough being a atheist. If most of the people on Earth are right, then when I die, Dad will be there with a big "I told you so" look on his face. Actually, I wouldn't mind being wrong. The worst part about it is that if I'm right I'll never know. If I am right then the memories, electric impulses and chemical reactions that make a person up just fade away. No thought survives death. Kind of depressing, so its no wonder that most people believe in something to get them past it. On the other hand, the afterlife is about all religion has left, since it lost out on weather, astronomy, disease, etc. If mankind does beat aging someday, then you'll see the beginning of the end for religion. Now wouldn't that be a cool world to live in.

First of all you don't die,your mode of transportation on this Planet ceases to work and becomes no more that a carcass of dead meat, just like all mammals bodys do when they die.
Second, you have an energy which resides within you that is created but is not destroyed. All energy continues to exist.Where that energy goes depend on you Religious or Non-Religious beliefs and that is a question only you can answer based on your personal belief's

How the hell are we as LIVING people know???
People,people,people these days. God. Only the dead know. WE shouldn't spend our lives wondering what death will become of us, because using the virtue patience will get us there. We ALL die and will all experience what happens after death. My friend, be patient and wait. LIVE your LIFE.

your family would probably burry you. But if you want to get religious the bible says that you will sleep until God comes and the dead will be the first to go with God. If your good =D

No one knows and that is why i find religion stupid because in the end no one really knows and ppl fite war over what they think is the truth
