hyenas are mean critters with powerful jaws even lions will back down when confronted by a hyena. One-on-one a lion should win a fight with a hyena but hyenas fight and hunt in packs. A pack of hyenas would rather find a lion or leopard with a fresh kill and take it away from them rather than do their own hunting. Leopards have little chance against a hyena.

one on one, the leopard wins. But since the hyenas hunt in packs, the leopard is dinner.

Will win what? A race?, a beauty contest?.

Nature is full of surprises and it isn't that simple to generalize.

Unlike the spotted hyenas, their stripped relatives aren't aggresive and on the other hand leopards wont't be willing to risk a wound. If defending their offspring both will dare to attack each other

one on one, a leopard will shred a striped hyena.
