I don't imagine end of the world, for I have a lot to do!! But couldn't avoid thinking when you have asked. I feel the universe would shrink back to zero dimension in course of time to await the next Big Bang!!!

I imagine a mobile Black Hole, moving in on the Milky Way. The first thing to change would be the color of the sky. Then it would pull the earth out of it's gravitational pull, possibly cause a Ice age or might even take out the sun first. The world would be in panic, but then we would hopefully accept our fate and have a short period of peace, because we realized we have no where to run. (To bad the earth doesn't have a big motor to run away from the black hole). Anyone still alive when the black hole is near would witness the earth being sucked apart. Not even light could escape as everything files off the earth and enters the black hole. We would be sucked in too and at first it would feel like you were being stretched. It wouldn't feel so bad but then it would get uncomfortable as you feet, then legs, then tights are sucked into the black hole. Finally the whole planet is sucked in and that's the end of life as we know it. Unless the black hole acts like a transporter between dimensions. Sorry...watched too much History channel. But it can happen.

I like how this question is worded. Thank you. Most people ask what "will"happen after death, end of the world, etc etc. Finally u stated "imagine" which means there is no right or wrong answer. Well anyways, back to the question. I personally think it will consist of "natural" diasters. That is why I personally think global warming isn't a big issue,. well it is, i do NOT support it, I try my best to not pollute the air etc. But you see global warming is man created, not a natural diaster. SO I think global warming is happen g because god/higher power/buddah.w/e want us to show how mankind is destroying the world. But anyways, I think a meteor, will it the earth wiping out most of the world. I know when the end of the world is near when the yellow rule the world.[asians].
the End.

We'll probably doom ourselves off before that planet killing asteroid hits us, before the consequences of global warming are in full swing, before the super volcanoes erupts and surely before our sun supernovas.
The detonation of tens of thousands of nuclear weapons that now sit quietly, inconspicuously, in missile silos, submarines and long-range bombers, faithful servants awaiting orders would bring the end of the human species.
The World Health Organization concludes that 1.1 billion people would be killed outright in such a nuclear war, mainly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. An additional 1.1 billion people would suffer serious injurles and radiation sickness. This would represent by far the greatest disaster in the history of the human species and, with no other adverse effects, would probably be enough to reduce at least the Northern Hemisphere to a state of prolonged agony and barbarism.
The nuclear winter that Carl Sagan spoke about would eventually spread to the Southern Hemisphere, killing all plant and animal life, and eventually mankind.
Are nukes good, the MAD doctrine kept us out of a nuclear war for 60 years, but now with rogue states and rogue leaders, the fallacy of the MAD doctrine is apparent. The weapons of peace for the last 60 years have now been turned to weapons of war. Once again we are staring into the black abyss of a nuclear holocaust.

I imagine the earth would crack open like an egg and a giant space cockroach would crawl out from the center, spread its wings and fly away. A few thousand people would still be alive, and learn to adapt in the new environment of a fractured world. Eventually, magma from the earth center would hit the vacuum of space and freeze, causing the earth to heal itself. Then, the space cockroach would return and eat what's left.

The Earth will see it's end in the far distant future, as the Sun begins to die. I believe the Earth will cease to be inhabitable when a powerful enough weapon is proliferated to the point some loony will use it. We barely survived the cold war, but technology will get to the point that earth ending weapons won't just be for big governments. The question is, can we seed ourselves to other worlds before this one goes boom.

I imagine that it would be tragic, but I don't really focus on the negative things in life. It's a waist of time. I'm here now and when I'm gone I won't be any longer. Pretty simple, there's no use in worrying. Are you depressed? Why do you want to know about what others negative thoughts are? For get I asked that, don't bring me down today.

I can only imagine it to be as I've learned from the Bible. The warring nations of the world will be poised at the battlefield of Armageddon, annihilation a heartbeat away, when suddenly Jesus will return to reign, bring peace, and make all things new. I believe it won't be a tragic end but an awe-filled new beginning where the bible says, "men will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks, and people will not learn war anymore".

Everybody will get together and have a week-long End of the World Celebration.
There will be balloons and music and dancing and lots of good food.
Then we will all lay down and put bags over our heads and it will end.
Boom!
