The freedom of speech, of free press, of religion, and of peaceful assembly.
If there's something I don't like about the government, I can vote, I can post something on the Internet, and I can complain to other people.
Newspaper reporters and editors can write whatever they want about the President, and nobody will arrest them.
In China and other Communist countries, you can't do that, even though corruption in the government is rampant.

If I want to profess a certain religion, I can. Nobody has the legal authority to stop me.
In the Middle East, you would get your head cut off if you converted to anything other than Islam.

If I want to protest something in the government, I can hold up a sign or hand out petitions, and I wouldn't get into trouble simply because I pointed out something wrong in our society.

Americans who think America is a crappy place have got to be the most spoiled people in the entire human race. Those people should go to Afghanistan, India, Africa, China, or anywhere else in the world, live there for one year, then come back and see how they like Ameica now.

It is home, Home Sweet Home!
Love the food, the different ethnicities, love the hustle and bustle, at the same time can get away from it all too... nice country ride... don't have to worry about being in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, although I'd wish they bring our troops home tomorrow...would be a nice New Year

I like the fact that I don't have to visit other countries (unless I want to) to experience different cultures. You just have to step outside your house to meet someone from China, India, Puerto Rico...anywhere. It's pretty awesome if I say so myself.
