You will almost always get a great price at sites like www.wirelfy.com, www.letstalk.com or www.coolfreephones.com, HOWEVER the prices involve several long-term rebates that may or may not come to fruition. Your safest and best bet is to go with the carrier website i.e www.Cingular.com, www.verizonwireless.com www.tmobile.com or the like. All of the carriers have a BOGO (buy one get one) free program right now so the most important question you need to answer is "what do you want your phone to do besides make and receive calls"
Lastly if you find a deal online at one of the carrier sites most times (especially at months end) the corporate stores will honor those prices to get the sale and you can get your phones right away.
Good Luck :-)

well, if its pay as you go. Cingular GO phone is good you can pick up a cheap at Wal-MArt for $20-$40.. it comes with a SIM card and everything and i DONT think there is a actavation fee..... and the GO phone isnt really JUST the name of the phone cause really you can use ANY Cingular Phone... but I suggest buying the go phone 1st casue it will have the SIM card if you just pick a phone up off Ebay and get it actavated on the Go Phone service they will charge you for a SIM card and other crap which will total like $44.00.... and they offer Free Night and Weekends and Mobile to Mobile (on $69.99 a month taken from your checking account) or Free Nights and Weekends (on $49.99 a month taken from your checkening account) both are 10 cents a mintue other wise.......... OR pay as you go 25 cents a minute anytime anywhere....................... or 10 cents a minute with Free Mobile to Mobile but only thing is you get charged $1.00 a day you use it but if you only call Cingular,Tracphone or Net 10 then thats all you pay for the day,,, and you buy cards for them... but I would suggest either going to a Cingualr Store or call them to add minutes cause the cards you get at Wal-Mart are by Fast Card and it dont like to add them then you have to call Cingular and have them fix it

depends how are you going to use it. If you are a heavy user, I suggest to get into a contract. If not, pay as you go is good.

Either way, go to EBAY.
