What are the chances of someone being pregnant after she has had her tubes tied for about 6 years? He period is 3 days late, but she has never been late before...it always comes early to her. Oh yea, she is 39. What could it be?

she could be going through her changes...get a home test to know for sure...but if her tubes are tied then there is a very small chance

Not pregnancy!! If it was pregnancy it is like 1 in a trillion!!! being late can happen event if you have never been before. I would start looking at possible early menopause over pregnancy.

Personally I have heard of four different people I know getting pregnant after they had their tubes tied. I don't want to freak anyone out but it is possible. I would have her take a test.

ok for starters periods are rarely regular, and at 39 they will probably start to get more irregular than usual, best for her to take a predictor as anything else is just guess work regardless of the percentage chance of her being pregnant or not

Well it could be just stress, if there are any other symptoms, say, flushing, forgetfullness, mood swings etc, I would suggest going to the docs incase it is the start of menopause.
Although pregnancy would be very rare in cases like this I wouldnt rule it out, but don't get your hopes up.

it could be a few things..she could be pregnant (unlikely but possible)..she could be going through her change early , or she could just be stressing out and stress can make your period late! GOOD LUCK have her see a doc and take a blood test to be sure!

3 days is not really late. wait 3 or 4 more days and if she still hasn't gotten it take a h.p.t. she also could be starting pre-menstral syptoms which include irregular or late periods.

Not very high chances for pregnancy. Probably just change of routine, stress, menopause.

she needs to take a test...anything is possible. also, she could be experiencing pre-menopause
