I think you can learn a beautiful lesson about yourself, through anger, but I don't think that anger, as an emotion or action, can be transformed into something beautiful. I think Nietzsche was referring to confusion rather than overt anger...

Dunno about what Nietzsche meant, but anger unexpressed blocks any further closeness or communication between the affected people. So while expressing anger is no fun, it does clear the blockage and let the closeness resume. So in that way something beautiful CAN come from the EXPRESSION of anger.

As a buddhist, nothing good can come from anger. Anger must be transformed into determination or another emotion before it can benefit anyone!

Yup... beauty can be found in seemingly unlikely places. Anger helps us know 'how much is too much'. It can be a symptom of a 'boundary violation'. Anger poses more questions than it reacts against. If questioned internally, anger helps us understand ourselves.

If you take that anger and learn something from it. I know that my compassion and humanity came out of anger that I was never shown any when I was a child, so, yes. I think it can happen.

Only if you are able to do like MerlinPi , and transcend that anger into determination...which can lead to ACTION. Especially if you are lingering in fear of the unknown...
I use anger as a lever to face my fears not to destroy.

Sometimes, depending on whether the anger is destructive or not.

Yes I think beautiful things can come from anger. I think people expose a bit of themselves when they get completely red in the face angry. Passion can come from anger. I know that first hand.

Great quote, thanks.

And yes, I do believe it can...
In fact, I'm awed by it in a way.
