LOL Too many to pick a favorite, but Oscar, The Count, Cookie Monster (back when he actually ate cookies "all" the time..) and Snuffalupagus (???) were my faves. Bert and Ernie were classic too.
I also really liked the rarely seen characters that no one seems to remember... the aliens that would appear out of nowhere...? One was blue and one was orange I believe. They would say something like "Yup yup yup yupyupyupyupyup... phooone...book". LOL unfortunately, no one my age remembers them and no one younger than me watched Sesame Street growing up.
I never really liked Elmo too much, but after seeing what the new version of Tickle Me Elmo is like (the one that kicks and falls over and all while laughing), I can honestly say that was quite entertaining.

I've always loved Elmo...Snuffy and Super Grover top my list too. I grew up watching that show!

It is hard for me to pick just one for they all are so special. I was babysitting my neighbors son when Sesame Street started. I put it on for my girls. They still watch it. ME, I admit I still enjoy watching and I am in my 50's.
You never get too old for these wonderfully entertaining puppets.

Cookie monster because he eats cookies just like I do. Also, my condo sometimes looks like the dumps just like Mr. Cookie monster's. I could be his best friend because we are so alike.
