Montell Jordan was dropped from his contract with Def Jam, and released an album independently called "Life After DEF" which had a single called "Supastar"
It was a great single IMO.. that sampled Mtume's "Juicy". If you can't track down the album, perhaps you can download the single online.

I don't know what's happened to him recently, but I did see him in a movie the other night called "The fighting Temptations" He played a prisoner in it. Beyonce and Cuba Gooding Jr. star in it. If you can, you should rent it some time. It's a really good movie. I loved it.

uummm...oh ya Mr.Montell Jordan yumm yumm!! i likes them tall ...oh he gots a voice too..
That Fighting Temptations movie is good...There is alot of good music and singing in it. Its been a while since i have seen it but the rapper that raps really fast, he plays one of the prisoners, he looks Mexican!! he is really good!
But yeah, i dont know what happened to Montell?? Hopefully he will come back with a Good Album....and bring TALL sexyback!!
