Being on the pill can help. So can Starflower oil or evening primrose and vitamin B6. A small dose of Valium can help if its really bad.
Eat sensibly, drink plenty, get some exercises to burn of some of the aggression and give you chance to clear your head. Get plenty of sleep too. Also, the answer you got about 'getting a good seeing to', well that's good to, it's a very enjoyable form of exercise that releases lots of feel good endorphins.

HEY, I RESEMBLE THE TO OLD,TO FAT AND SMOKE TO MUCH REMARK AND I'M STILL ON BIRTH CONTROL (LMAO). But on a serious note they have actually come out with a new medication for PMT (old part sinking in I can't remember the name of the drug). Ask your Doc about it. But as the other person suggested that B complex will help depending on how bad the PMT is.

Try ST. JOHNS WART, my sister had the same problem and was advised to use these, or put some nice baggy pjs, a hot water bottle, the biggest bar of choc and a large mug of hot choc with marshmallows, get your duvet and snuggle up on your sofa alone and watch a nice girlie movie you can have a little cry to, it really works, make sure there are no men around thought coz lets face it, its usually them that annoy us!!! or is that just me??

have you tried the GI diet? balancing blood sugar levels can help to regulate and stabilise premenstrual mood swings. i'd also recommend that you include oily fish (or omega supplement capsule) in your diet. try and get plenty some extra rest when your period is due as we tend to be a little tired and drained at this time and this can add to irritability. and avoid alcohol and any other substance that is depressant. good luck. hope things improve x.

Get back on the pill or go to the doctor and see about an antidepressant. Prozac helped for awhile.

Start taking a B Complex vitamin every day. I swear, in a month you won't believe how much better your premenstrual symptoms are. you may not even have PMS anymore.
