Much of it comes from muscle contractions ("cramps") associated with expelling the lining of the uterus. Hormone fluctuations also contribute to discomfort, headaches, backaches, etc.

A woman's uterine wall contracts and this is called cramping. It helps shed the lining of the womb hence where the bleeding comes from. This can be quite painful but not as bad as giving birth.

Not all women do have pain with a period. Cramps are nomal but not every women has cramps or pain.

Because the muscles in the uterus are contracting and spasming to shed the lining.

Doesn't it hurt you when you get a leg cramp? Same difference.

Cause the stupid uterus is getting ready to have a stupid parasite baby in there. I don't think it's fair all women have to get it. It should only be women who actually wanna have stupid babies.
