Hmmm first of all which program did you use for burning the CD's? The most basic one to use which is the easiest and free is windows media player (go to it and press Burn, then put the songs which you want to be "burned" :D)... If you have an old CD player, it will probably not play the songs. And be sure that you bought a good CD for burning music, ask the guys working in the shop where they sell those stuff, they will probably know. Good luck!

I hope I understood your question correctly. You rip'd the songs and burned them onto a CD.
Now you want to know why you can't listen to the songs on a cd or dvd player?

Okay - first you have to make sure your CD player and DVD player can play MP3 or wma. If they don't have the Capability to play the audio format then no you will not be able to listen to the music.

Did you try playing the CD on your computer? If it doesn't work there then you did not burn the songs onto the CD-R correctly.

If you have windows XP open my computer, locate the music files and drag them over to your cd burn. A bubble will pop up saying you have files to be written. Click the bubble then select write files to CD.

Best of luck

what i do is that since i have a limewire i click on explore. Then, i right click on the songs that i want on the CD and i put add to burn list. Then open windows media player and click on the tab that says burn. then the songs you want on the CD should be in a list there and all you have to do is put the CD into the computer and click start burning..~good Luck~

Which did you use? Windows media player is the one I always use and it always works. Make sure that it's the right CD.
