I wouldn't recommend it. Candling poses several dangers, the most serious of which involve burning caused by the hot wax. Candle manufacturers claim that their candles will drip only down the outside of the ear, but shamefully few direct the user to hold the candle horizontally to prevent this. A 1996 survey of 144 ear, nose, and throat physicians, found that 14 had seen patients who had been harmed by ear candling, including at least 13 cases of external burns, 7 cases of ear canal obstruction with candle wax, and 1 perforated eardrum.
Doesn't sound like fun. :(
Good luck! :)

It depends on what you mean by "work"
does it cure cancer, no...
but when performed correctly, it will help clean out your inner ear and help restore balance and release trapped toxins in the ear canal. It also helps your lymph flow more freely.
I stress "correctly" because there are a lot of people out there who don't understand the concept and perform it wrong.
The candle should be lit after being placed in the ear.
The candle should not be removed until it is done, but someone has to be right there to cut the excess off so the burnt part doesn't fall on your face.

Yes. It dose I have had it done and it is awesome how it works. What it dose is it in a sense it dries up all of the wax in your ear and the candle pulls it out of the ear. My mom has been candling for the past 3 years and not one person has complained that it did not work. It helps clear your ear canal of wax build up. But yes it really dose work!

Yes it does really work. It's especially effective in relieving earaches. My grandmother used to do candling for family and friends when we had an ear ailment. It's a very old treatment, but a good one.
