Being Canadian I would like to learn french. When I was in school it was still a debate and unfortunately I had the wrong thought waves from people I cared about. I would also love to travel in your country and Quebec once I have learnt french. Somewhere in my background there is french but the family doesn't talk about it. However to answer your question directly I would have to say no. I am at peace with how I am, and always learning new ways but never wishing to be someone else.............

Yes - the French are a very cultured nationality. The have some of the world's best cuisine, art, history, writers, thinkers, museums, galleries, wine....everything! It is a lot better in Europe than here in the US. Culture, art and truly free thinking come before money, greed and fast food. I would be French - definitely.

Oui!! I love France. However, I like being American too much to let it go. France has some of the greatest architecture and art...and history in the world!

If the only alternative would be to be a superpatriotic right-wing ideological jerk, I would much prefer to be French.

No, I would not like to come from a country that has never won a war...except those that they fought against themselves...which I guess would be impossible not to win, since they are against themselves.
