I have a male co worker in an office full of girls. I like every single one of the girls and I don't have any thing personal against this guy. The only thing is that when he is on the phone he is extremely loud and it irritates me and he's been spoken to about this and he still hasn't changed. He's also very feminine. He's not gay (he's married). He's not so much feminine as in his actions but the way he talks. He talks like he's a freaking girl. I know I sound horrible, I would rather him be gay than just a feminine man. Oh and then he asks questions that are sort of personal or he'll say things to make himself look like he's better or something. It seems like I'm fixating on him too much at work and I have to stop before I really cannot stand him and it makes it hard to come to work. Anyone have any ideas on how I can handle the situation?

maybe see him beyond his annoying habits and imagine it was you in his shoes and then treat him and you would want others to treat you.

You can't learn to like someone - only tolerate them.

His manager needs to speak to him again about his loud voice if it is interrupting everyone's work. If you don't like what he has to say, don't talk to him. Ignore his comments, and don't answer his personal questions. As far as his other quirks, you'll just have to learn to ignore them.

Plenty of gay men get married as a cover. Don't assume he must be straight.

Is there any way your cubicle can be one as far away from him as possible? Or one of you can get transferred to a branch office?

Try to ignore those things you find so irritating.

try to ignore him or you could just learn to accept who he is. you dont have to like him you just need to realize that is the way he is and there is nothing you can do about it.
