In Toronto we received 24 inches of snow in a 36 hour period. The Federal Government sent in the army to help clear our streets! In our townhouse complex there was a man who had a heart attack, and the ambulance crew had to carry the stretcher for him two streets to reach him. They could not get the ambulance to our street. :-) I've seen more snow in Quebec city, but Toronto did not have the equipment to clear the snow away.

I live just north of NYC and we had one winter a few years back where we got about 80 inches of snow. A typical winter is about 25 inches, and this winter we probably wont get 5 inches the way things are going.
