Are you looking to get some tropical fish?
If so are you looking for a salt water tank or a fresh water tank.
Salt water tanks need to cycle before you can put fish in them, and you'll need live-rock,almost live sand which has a ton of beneficial bacteria in it, some snails, distilled water, only a couple of gallons of salt water, more distilled water( once the tank needs to replace water you'll need more distilled, because if you add more salt water to it, the fish will die) and then you could put some sea snow to help the PH. Make sure you have a testing kit, that way your delicate fish don't croak.
As far as the most beautiful fish, some of them don't get along, I would do research on them.
The funniest of them are Clown Fish, and they come in many varieties.
Regular Clown Fish are like Nemo and Marlin, and have three stripes, they're a little on the small side.
Tomato Clowns are funny looking, their face is a little smooshed and they look angry.
Cinnamon clowns are really dark, and they get scared easy.
If you mix hyper fish with the clown, I would recommend a non-light sensitive anenome.
But if you are having a little tank, remember, each fish needs about a 3 cubic squares for it to be happy. ( 10 gallon tank, three fish)
Most pet stores will have a little info card on what fish are easier to take care of then others.

Good luck!

Well, all tropical fish are beautiful in their own way.First, you need to know the parameters of your water supply. If your water is hard & slighltly alkaline, then livebearers such as Guppies, Platys, Swordtails, & Rift lake cichlids are best.
If your water is soft & Neutral, then cyprinids such as Neon Tetras are best suited.

That isn't a clear question.......

Best how? Easiest to keep? The best looking?

Neons are very pretty if you have about twenty of them and male Guppies are also very nice.

I like saltwater fish, but they are tough to keep. My other favorites are African Cichlids, they look like tropical fish, but are freshwater.

I like gouramis. They're easy to care for and colorful. Plus they have these little arm/antennae fins up front that they feel around with. They're cute.
