God is time personified. Time in this world is illusion. This world is Illusion(Maya) is temporary and full of misery. We are in illusion to think we will not die. Of course we never die that is also an illusion. Only the body dies and the soul (that's us) goes on eternally. We as embodied souls have a hard time understanding eternal because it is beyond time. It has no beginning or end. We have no beginning or end yet this body (which is an illusion) makes us think we are getting old. We never get old as far as the soul is concerned. As far as time healing all things because we forget (we even forget our being in the woum or our past lives) If one wants to get out of this illusion and come to reality, the quickest and easiest way is to chant the Maha Mantra (The Great Mantra for deliverance from illusion and misery) go to krishnaculture. and stephen-knapp. for complete details. Read Bhagavad Gita as its is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada and Understand time in actuality and the purpose of life.

People say a lot of things. Are you asking what each of those things mean? Time is an illusion is saying that basicly means time goes by faster than you think. Time heals all wounds means no matter how hurt you are or how broken your heart may seem, in time you will get over it.

Because it's their opinion, even though I don't agree. Time isn't an illusion, it is an effective barrier preventing you from taking back the things you did. And time doesn't heal a disemboweled man.

Time is an illusion that heals all wounds.
Because it doesnt really heal the wound its just that time makes the pain tolerable, giving the illusion that it is healed.
Obviously this applies to psychological wounds!
I know I am depressing....I think too much!

Both statements are true. Personally, the last statement means more to me personally. There is not much in life that doesn't fade from memory when it is no longer present on a daily basis.
