As we lose our freedoms more and more while jobs go overseas and the middle class disappear, do you think the media has our country fooled into thinking we still have it best?

Sadly, George W. Chimp was flushed America down the crapper. Have fun living in your McMansion and slaving your life away.

I think it should be a requirement that to live in this country you have to actually like this country. I'm not talking about being upset with some of the things going on, that is what makes American great. I'm talking about actual America haters.
People are always posting about lost freedoms, but as of yet I've not seen ONE post listing those freedom that are lost or anyone giving factual examples of people that have lost those freedoms.
Surely there is a country somewhere that wants America haters. Lord knows there are people dying everyday to just step foot on her soil.

I spend most my time living in an Amish paradise.... I churn butter once or twice livin in an Amish paradise..

Just kidding, yes I think that America could be considered a fools paradise.. the country is going downhill everyday due to illegal immigrants and wildly out of control minorities who are quickly becoming the majority and well turning the country into one giant ghetto with no jobs and lots of crack houses. We don't have it the best, nor do we have it the worst... yet! It's coming though and the only thing you can do is hope that it changes or get on a plane now.

Yes I think we are easily fooled by the media. Having traveled to every continent in the world except Antarctica. They always show us areas of the world like Somalia, Ethiopia to try to show us how great we have it.
Many countries of the world have very high standards with a good quality of life. They also dont have to have young men die so people can have democracy in countries where it doesnt make any difference to them if democracy is important

What makes you think we're losing our freedoms more and more? Any evidence? Any substance to this complaint?

You're listening to whining. You gotta get more sources for your information.

Such a terrible country, you must be eager to get out.

Yeah, that's why I listen to the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" several times a week.

OK, I keep hearing the same crap "we are losing our freedoms" but I have yet to know which freedoms we are losing because none of you Bozos care to elaborate. My freedoms haven't changed one bit after 9/11. I can still go where I want to, when I want to and with whom I want. I can see any movie I want, read any book I want and listen to any music I want. So tell me, what freedoms are we losing?.

No, as bad as you try(and fail) to make it sound, we still do have it better than the rest of the world. You are obviously a disillusioned American who rarely if ever travels abroad.
