The cartoon was about a little boy that wouldn't listen. There were parts about him with his head in a lion's mouth and, I think honey in someone's hair, or something. The adults would tell him not to do something because of what could happen, and he kept singing "I don't care". I would like to know the name of that video. I don't know if it was a series or just a single educational video or what. Thank you in advance.

Many many moons ago singer Carole King did an animated special for kids called "Really Rosie". The story was actually a musical special about a bunch of different kids. The big hit song was "Chicken Soup w/ Rice". But one of the songs was about Pierre who's song was "I don't care." Because he didn't care the lion you mentioned swallowed him *and he was still singing". But at the end, obviously the lion let him out and he started caring.

God, thanks for reminding me of that. "Really Rosie" and "Chicken Soup" were my fave songs from there!

EDIT: The show came out in 1975 and is availabvle through amazon.com

I didn't know there was a video made; the story is from Maurice Sendak - Pierre: A Cautionary Tale. It's in his Nutshell Library; the video might be called that since there were 4 tiny books.

Was his name Pierre I think? Now I am intrigued. BTW, does anyone remember the film with the kid and his love of a red balloon?
