You should be asking your doctor these questions. Nobody here can give you a professional diagnosis. Your doctor should be examining you. I hope you have been making regular visits. When I didn't feel movement my child had died. I was 8 months pregnant. This is nothing to blow off. Babies don't sleep in your womb for 7 months without movement.

There could be something wrong or you may be mistaking the baby's movements for something else. If you are a larger person (overweight) it is very possible that you may not be feeling the baby's movements for that reason. The thinner you are the sooner you feel the movements. I would talk to your Dr. if you haven't already, so tests or an ultrasound can be done to rule out any problems. Best wishes to you :)

It could be a sleepy baby. If you have been going to your appointments regularly and they say the heart beat and everything is fine then you should be okay. If this is your first baby you might just not recognize the feeling of baby moving and during the day when you move about it rocks the baby to sleep, it could be awake at night while you are sleeping.

By 7 months I would think you should have felt the baby move. Are you sure you haven't already felt it but didn't know what you were feeling?
I think you should check with your doctor as soon as you can and see what s/he says. Sounds weird to me.
Good luck!

Sometimes the Placenta is attached to the anterior wall (the front) of the uterus, causing a pillow type thing that can delay you feeling the baby kick.Maybe that could be your problem.

the only thing that I can think of is that your placenta is in the front or your belly which makes is hard for you to feel movement. Has your doctor mentioned anything of this nature? I would call and speak to one of your doctors about your concerns

have you brought this to your OB's attention??
call them and ask and perhaps they will do an ultrasound to be sure all is well.
are you overweight??? not to pry, but sometimes overweight moms can't feel as much movement b/c of all the extra padding.
take care:)
