Has anyone seen the latest Rocky movie? I watched it last night. All on all, when the credits in white font began to scroll against the black background, I sort of had no idea how I felt about the movie... Was it good? Should they have stopped at V? Could it have been better?

If you've seen it, what are you thoughts?

I saw it and actually got some goosebumps when they played the theme song and the words ROCKY BALBOA scrolled across the screen - it was like 1976 all over again when my smart bother and I went to see Rocky and my other dumb brothers saw Orca!

Very good film - everyone clapped at the end. This movie went back to the character of Rocky, and his life now as kind of a has been, his millions are gone and he's running a restaurant. People still yell "Hey Rocky!", but he's just a regular guy and plenty of people make fun of him. But the movie has heart and a good message. Well acted.

They did skip over the brain damage stuff, but who could tell the difference? He was pretty punchy anyway.

Rocky V was bad (I never saw it, not even on Tv for free), and lots of people say he should have stopped after the first movie. Rocky II was okay, but the others were just vehicles to show him training and boxing it seems. This was a great way to end the series since V didn't sit well with him (or with anybody).

Ha ha that final answer's spot on! i will basically say that I grew up with and enjoyed the Rocky movies so i desire for the terrific yet when I heard that it became Rocky Balboa in the hoop and not his son or protege, or maybe basically a action picture approximately Rocky getting via in the genuine international, my coronary heart sank somewhat. that is going to in all threat be crap yet i will truthfully be delivering my money on the cinema for previous time's sake! Critics slag off Rocky yet aside from Rocky 4, that's so undesirable that is humorous, they're all sturdy movies provide or take unrealistic combat scenes. Even the final one became ok in a returned to the streets variety of way, despite the fact that whilst it became on satellite tv for pc final week I basically flicked over! besides regardless of if that is not so sturdy I basically desire it would not bomb...

I thought this installment did nicely at finishing off the Rocky saga. Rocky V left a bad taste in my mouth, but this one left me satisfied. I still rooted for the Stallion and found myself punching the opponet in my seat (just like all the other movies). I think that even though the other guy "won", he gained some respect for Rocky. Overall I'll give it 4 stars out of 5.

Sly really showed that he is a good actor with heart. The movie had a positive message that was refreshing in comparison with what Hollywood produces these days.

It was realistic in that he didn't have to win his last fight in order to be a winner.

Again, a great story about the Human endeavor, played out well with a very positive message to all people.

Thumbs Up to Rocky VI and Sylvester Stalone.

The only thing I didnt like about it was that he seemed to have forgotten 2-5.

Every reference done in the movie except for the highlights before the big fight were about Rocky 1.

He never talks about: his second fight with apollo, his loss to clubber, his win over clubber, Apollo's death, mickey's death, or Drago, and no reference (pic or reel) of 5.

I also felt like he ignored part 5 in that in that he was not to fight anymore because the damage 4 did to him and that it could kill him. that didnt make sense that he so willingly took on this fight.

I thought it was great...definitely the right way to end the series...back to its roots, just like it began

If they were gonna stop at V, they should've stopped at IV because V was trash
