I need who to start week 17. Brees or Garcia? I'm in first and need some points to stay there?

I would start Garcia, Drew will start and get you quick points, however,he probably wont play the entire game.Payton did say in the New Orleans local press conference, that the team is focussing on playing to win, but he can mean several different things . If you want more info on what they will do, listen to the Joe Horn Talk Show (radio station 870am)this Thursday at 7pm, they will give you all the info, Joe normally will tell you who will more than likely play each week. We all know that Garcia will play the entire game, so for a certainty, start Garcia!!

I would go with Garcia because the Eagles still need to play a meaningful game to clinch the division. The Saints have already clinched their division and they have a first round bye already too. I'm willing to bet that Sean Payton doesn't leave Brees in for the whole game. Besides, since he took over as starter Garcia has been leading the league in passer rating and he has 10 TD's and only 2 INT's in the last 5 weeks. Going against a soft Atlanta team that they've beaten 7 or 8 times in a row.

I am in a similar spot. I have brees and am in the finals. It looks unlikely that brees will play the full game. The Saints have nothing to play for they can not put themselfs in a better position, they are in the second spot in the nfc no matter what happens. Brees is what got me to the finals and I hate having to bench him, but it looks like he is only going to play a quarter or two at the most. I would probably go with a quarter back that you know is going to play the whole game.

Start Garcia.
Jamie Martin is going to see lots of time this week in New Orleans. Peyton is too smart to let ego possibly injure Brees, Bush, Mcallister or Colston.
The starting lineup as I see it will be Martin qb, McAllister sharing time with Stecker, and possibly Mcafee as RB, Copper, Henderson, and Jones as WR and backups in on Defence with limited snaps for Grant and Smith.

garcia, the eagles can clinch the division with a win and Garcia is not only playing for the division crown but for his job next season. Many teams will be looking at him over the next few weeks to see if he can be a viable starting qb again next year.
