Yes, most of the changes that you can surely expect are cultural changes. Atlanta is far more diverse that houston. For example I am Creole (French/Black/Indian), and many of the people in Houston only see Black/White/Mexican/Chinese. That is so horrible, because we do not realize (sheltered) that there are, Caribbean (blacks), Irish (whites), Spaniard (Mexican), and Vietnamese or Laos(Chinese). Houston is very diverse in all of these cultures but we are sooo behind in recognizing them in each other. We know nothing accept skin color and not heritage. Other than that, I would say Atlanta is far less advanced than Houston (business wise) and as far as scenery. Atlanta has a lot of homeless people begging and wondering around the streets, almost seems frightening until you get use to it. Houston is growing daily so you are sure to fit in and have fun, just make sure to bring your cultural awareness and colorful HOTlanta vibes with you...
