These are good, and probly just as user friendly. I.E. is the widely used one which is also prone to hackers and spamers.
Mozilla is running closely behind I.E. But has all kinds of add-ons.
Firefox, is the smallest and probly the fastest, but some web site do not react well with it. There are also a couple of other brwsers.
I can only think of Opera for now but there are a few more out there waiting to popular.

This would seem to be an opinion based question, so my opinion is that the new IE is kinda confusing. I prefer the simplicity with Firefox.
However, you can fully customize Firefox for free with addons (with IE you have to pay for many addons). This customization allows you to make FF more simple or less simple - depending on the nerd in you.
Opinion aside. If the United States Computer Emergency Team recommends that you use a different browser, then Firefox would be a good choice
"There are a number of significant vulnerabilities in technologies related to the IE domain/zone...It is possible to reduce exposure to these vulnerabilities by using a different web browser"

Firefox enables you to surf the internet safer and speedier, and it reflects the internet the way that it replaced into meant to be. Firefox additionally delivers greater information superhighway web site viewing area so as which you will discover greater of a information superhighway web site than you may with different browsers. the main suitable difference which you will see interior the comparisons under is that information superhighway Explorer 6 reflects gray in the back of its photographs, Firefox would not.

Firefox is faster and easier, so is Opera (it lets you get your email from Outlook Express in the browser), also free.
Internet Explorer 7 is fine, but people aren't too keen on it.
Netscape, the only plus is it remembers different user names and passwords for various sites, and auto fills them, a plus, a tad bit slower than Firefox.

I personally find Firefox to be easier to use. IE 7 tends to be kind of difficult to find the icons, as they appear all over the screen. The tabs are also kind of confusing.
Finally, I use Firefox because it is a little more secure.

firefox. it is easy to use supports tabbed browsing and is much safer and more secure than any version of internet explorer. The only good thing that microsoft has ever made is windows but that is still rubbish.

Firefox, it's always firefox. Because it lacks the Active X controls that IE has, there are fewer viruses that attack it. Plus, you can customize as you see fit with additional extensions available here:
