Iverson never gets credits for his assists. He did that plenty of times in Philly. This is a guy who has averaged over 7 assists a game for his career, yet all anyone talks about is what a ball hog he is.

Fact is, he is and always has been a good passer, the problem a lot of the times in Philly is that he had no one to pass to. In his 10 years in Philly they never had a legitimate scorer other than Iverson that they could go to consistently.

Yes AI is on a team that wants to win. CWebb, Korver, Sam, Willie Green, Andre and them didn't play well with AI. Iverson did it all. Score, make plays, and play d. Iverson can play good with some good teammates. I'm tired of people calling AI a ball hogger. The man did what he had to do to win because his other teammates was just looking at him. Get Chris Webber was the worst. They should've got KG or Boozer. CWebb season is over. I hate that Tim Legler dude, before AI first Denver game he said Iverson got to pass the ball to his teammates. Then after the game he said "Iverson should've taken over the game instead of passing and setting up his teammates." I'm like WTF. Iverson is a great player and a good teammate, put that man with good teammates and he will show you his complete skills. Wait 'til Melo, Camby, and JR get back. Denver is gonna be special. I'll give them after the All-Star to gel in and they will start to dominate.

Allen Iverson is just trying to fit in his team and wants to be likable to the Denver Nuggets.

because he can rely more on his denver teammates..they can actually make shots and he doesn't have to do everything by himself..he realizes he has good talent around him

it's different from the sixers when they just have one three point shooter(kyle korver)..one dunker(andre iguodala) and everybody else missing shots and not getting boards..you cant win a game when 5players are good at just one thing

thats easy to answer since the answer has something to prove. everyone thinks he is a selfish ballhog who can't work with anyone else and he is proving everyone wrong. he is making it work its as simple as that. the system he was in in philly was flawed like you cant imagine.

He is on a new team and trying to fit in. His new coach has already told him that he should be "shooting more and passing less."

He's done it before, but it has to do with him feeling great about his new team.
