What's the differences between these terms?

I mean terms like heterosexual, metrosexual, etc. Can you please tell me all of them and if you're a female, which of those in the list you like your guy to be?

Heterosexual: Man and woman relationship
Homosexual: Man and Man or woman and woman relationship
Metro sexual is a man who acts like he would be homosexual but is heterosexual. Example gets his nails done spends more time in the mirror than his girlfriend always looks his best. A man who knows WHY you don't wear a brown belt with black shoes.

I like a man who could protect me and fix things but I also want him to look nice. But I still would rather go for a rugged man than a metro sexual.

Heterosexual: merely states someone's desire to be have relations with the opposite gender
Metrosexual: I believe everyone here is giving the extreme view of a metro. David Beckham is the poster boy for metrosexual. It's basically a guy that cares about their appearance. Common signs yes would be to perceive them as gay, but not always the case.

In the end it's merely a label and who cares if you call yourself metrosexual? It's a word, and there are varying degrees of it, I don't think it should be used to identify oneself. No one ever goes out and says, 'Hi I'm Tom, and I am a metrosexual'. It's the same thing as a girl going out and saying 'Hi I'm Jenn, and I take care of the way I look to look hot'. I doubt girls go out and go yea I want a nice metrosexual man. Perhaps, I want a nice heterosexual man...or whatever their into.

A heterosexual is someone is who attracted to or has relations with someone of the opposite sex. A Metrosexual is a straight man who styles his hair using three different products (and actually calls them "products"), loves clothes and the very act of shopping for them, and describes himself as sensitive and romantic. In other words, he is a man who seems stereotypically gay except when it comes to sexual orientation.
I don't like metrosexual men...I like my man to be MANLY...I'm not into metrosexual men (just my preference)

Okay, here it is...

Heterosexual = totally straight. man/woman relationships...only

Homosexual = gay. man/man woman/woman relationships...only

Bisexual = little bit of both. enjoys heterosexual and homosexual relationships

Metrosexual = a man who, upon first glance, you may think is gay, but actually isn't. he's very concerned about his appearence; manicures, keeps his hair cut (dyed if necessary). he dresses to impress. he likes to look 'put together' at all times...even if he's doing the laundry or going to the grocery store. he knows why you don't wear summer white after labor day. and, like another lady mentioned, he knows WHY you should NEVER wear black shoes and a brown belt or vice versa.

I do prefer a 'manly' man, you know? but, it would be nice to have a man who knows why it is NEVER cute to have your thong show or have 'muffin top' when your low rise jeans aren't cut for your shape!! LOL

hetero - is just plain straight, acts like a man, dresses like a man, etc.
metro - is has feminie qualities, but not gay. Really cares about his apperance, hair, how he looks etcs.
