Hello,

In my twins, it causes constipation.

They have not had diarrhea.

I would not recommend giving your baby bananas yet. Pears and Prunes are the best at keeping your baby regular.

But, do not let your baby have the whole jar or container of prunes either, they will cause diarrhea.

Hope this helps you................ : - O

Doubtful. Banana's are considered to be binding. Apples and pears, on the other hand CAN cause diarreaha.

Well i have six year old son, who gets diarreaha when he eats banannas. yes i know people say its binidng, but not with my big guy. Also Ive noticed that jar food in general makes his stool a different consistecey, and somtimes they are looser. (bannanas happens top be my six month olds favorite jar food) When in doubt aske the MD, thats what they are there for, Im sure even the offcie staff could help answer.

Actually, bananas are extremely constipating, unless there is a food allergy and then diarreah might be a symptom.

I would think only if they have an allergy to them. Usually bananas are something you can feed a little one with loose stools to help.

Unless theyre allergic to them, no. Banana's are typically a constipator.

Not usually - bananas actually bind. Just like cheese etc.
