Also how much more would you be willing to pay for a direct flight* rather than a connecting flight?

A Direct flight is like where the plane lands people get off and then get back on while you stay in your seat for half an hour kinda like Southwest Airlines.

I'd be willing to pay an extra $100- $200 bucks for a direct flight (depending on the mileage of my destination).

I wouldn't mind a "direct flight" per your description, but when I am flying, I REALLY just want to get there as fast as humanly possible.

Whenever we fly to Hawaii I always take the direct flight out of Denver International Airport. It puts me on the beach by 3 pm and I don't have to spend a day out of my vacation running around airports. The flight home is an evening flight so I can have an entire day in Hawaii and sleep my way home.

It costs about $120 more per ticket...but I pay it every time. It's the only way to fly.

I would rather have a connecting flight. I like to get off the plane and strech my legs for a few minutes. I feel too cramped usually.

actully for me it's cheaper to drive the 2 hours to Chicago for a flight than fly out of here, so I waste about $50.00 on gas. Southwest Airlines don't fly out of here and they are a direct flight to where I want to go.
