I have had this problem before and what i did was tell them that i wasn't interested and i was not that way. you have to be serious when you tell them though but my friend continued to like me and it felt weird and everyone thought we were a couple so i just separated myself from them.

If you're a straight male, then be nice and just tell him thnx, you appreciate the compliment but you're not into guys. If you're a female then feel really good about yourself knowing a gay guy likes you!!!! :o) If you're gay but don't have any attraction towards him then again, thank him and express how you feel, wether you like him as well or don't. No matter what your situation is, don't be mean about it. You could ruin him for life and bad things will happen to you. Be repectful and good things will happen.

If you are ok with him being gay and that does not bother you. Then tell him that it's fine that he likes you but to not let it get in the way of your relationship, as you want to be friends but you don't want things to be awkward. Be kind to him, treat him like your friend, and in the end things will work out how they are supposed to.

I would say that I am very flattered but I am not gay and I never intend on being gay. I would tell that person I value that friendship and they need to respect your sexuality so as to not make you uncomfortable and/or destroy the friendship...

I'd say I was flattered, but taht I obviously was not attracted in the same manner. I would say I hope that the attraction could be set aside for the sake of a good friendship.

Exactly the same thing if a friend of the opposite sex told me they liked me. If I don't return the feeling, I would tell them. Friendship is rare...and shouldn't be ruined with a feeling of discomfort.

If I was gay, then I would be ok with it. If I am not gay, then I would simply explain this to him, no harm done. If he is male and I am female. I would question his as to what is going on? Is the confused regarding his sexuality, is he bisexual. And then I would just go with my heart. God bless****

tell him you are flatter but you don't walk on that side of the street. if he was a friend then he should have known you were not gay...unless you secretly are..then say cool and go for it...just don't make him feel embarrassed...tell him politely and then move on

Are you a guy? Are you gay? Do you like this guy? If not then say "sorry, I don't feel that way about you".
