Yes, I missed my parents. I lost my Mom about 20 yrs ago and lost my dad 6 yrs ago. I think Christmas is the worse for me because we always had the "Family Thing" going on at Christmas. I don't care if it's been 20 yrs or only a year, I think I will continue missing my parents. I deal with it by looking at photos of all the happy times we always shared. It helps me a lot. I also always cook something that my mom taught me too make, makes me feel like she is there with me all over again. It's hard but we all learn too cope in different ways. no matter if we are missing someone that is dead, or alive, we all learn what is the best way for us too cope with it.

Yes this was the worst Christmas i ever had. I lost the love of my life she died 4 months ago and I am having a very bad time right now. My heart is so broken I don't know what to do. I guess I need a friend to talk to but the one I had wont talk to me any more. I guess I need to find another friend to help me get over this pain.

Yes, my mother in law. She passed away this September of two kinds of advanced cancers. She suffered quite a battle for 6 months. What's hard is that she loved Christmas so I hope she was with us in spirit. We sure do miss her!! We just went about the day as we would normally...it was different but we got through it and to be honest, I'm glad it's over with.

YES, IT'S REALLY JUST ANOTHER DAY. YOU CAN ALWAYS LIGHT A CANDLE TO THINK OF THEM. GO TO ANOTHER ROOM FOR SOME QUIET TIME TO THINK ABOUT THEM AND REMEMBER. IT'S TOUGH, BUT WE REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY CHOICE SOMETIMES.
