Excellent question. A lot of people have harrassed me for being quiet sometimes, but I agree with Mark Twain's saying, "It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Originally director Quentin Tarentino was going to have diamonds in the brief case, but he nixed the idea because it was unoriginal. He claims that you are supposed to form your own conclusion as to what is in the brief case. But movie fanatics think it was the soul of Marcellus Wallace. He had a band aid on the back of his head, and the combination to the briefcase was 666.

Some people are uncomfortable with silence. I could sit with somebody and not say a word if there were nothing worth saying.

Cause that is impersonal, and I know that I don't like to talk about myself much

Because we find silence threatening. We feel the need to "fill" it.
