Turning an IPOD nano 4GB Off???

Question

I was wondering if there is a special button you press to turn off it or if I just have to pause it then put hold on and let it turn off itself????

The way to turn off any iPod is to simply hold down the pause/play button until it shuts off...sometimes it doesn't work right away but if you hold it down it should work...if it doesn't let go and press it again...you could do what you are doing by just putting it on hold but I personally wouldn't recommend it

The best thing to do is to hold the play/pause button till the screen goes blank and then you put the hold button on.

hold down the pause/play button until the screen turns dark. you may have to do it twice - hold it down for eight full seconds and then hold it down - it should work. if you need to, restart it by holding the menu button and the center button down until it turns dark. then try turning it off. good luck!

pausing it and putting it on hold duzzent turn it off it wont show tha music anymore but its still on tha song u left it on other than that i dunno if theres a button u push cuz i wonder tha same thing

i just go 2 tha last song and then push tha "next song" button and it shuts off

I were given an i-pod nano for christmas too, and that's basically fantastic. try taking it decrease back to the shop, and getting yet another one. for sure you need to music down the receit. the shop provides you you with yet another one, that's, with somewhat of luck, basically fantastic.

you don't have to do anything it will go off by itself after a few minutes of no use
