I got the PSP, but it was the unit itself. However, I'm wanting to put songs and etc. on it, but is there a way to do this without the Memory Stick? I want to assume it has some internal memory.

The PSP Has Some Very, Very Small Internal Memory, However, You Cannot Use It For Save Data, Music, Movies, etc..

In Fact, No Current PSP Has A Built-In Hard Drive Or Flash Memory To Save Your Stuff Like An iPod Would..

You'll Need To Purchase A Memory Stick Duo, And A Good Big One, Like A 1 Or 2 GB So You Can Save A Lot Of Stuff..
And With The Holiday Season Still Lingering, The Prices Are Still Good For Memory Sticks, With Some 2 GB Seeing As Low As Around $50..

Overall: If You Don't Have A Memory Stick, You Can't Really Do Anything On Your PSP..
