To the family of Gerald R. Ford,
I believe that in the world of politics, an honest, down to earth, and open person such as the Late President Gerald Ford is extremely rare. I don't think we have seen such a genuinely wonderful human being in the presidency in many, many years.
May the Lord shelter and protect President Ford and all of his family.
You can certainly be proud of President Ford's memory, not only as the president who healed a nation, but as an extremely effective congressman and a truly good man.
God bless you and all those you hold dear in this difficult time.

Yes! he was probably the best president we have had. I wish we had him right now. He healed this nation from Watergate and Vietnam. He stood by his wife during her troubles, he loved this country and he loved his family. He lived a log and honorable life. Thank you President Ford!

Yes, I wish his family well in their time of grief. He had to deal with some pretty sticky times as President and I think looking back he did a pretty good job. Not always popular...but he took the right path.

He was definitely my favorite president. Grew up from a humble beginning, and worked hard to achieve success. Was honest, hard-working, and loving. He will be missed by many, and forgotten by none.
