Can a virus be embedded into images or are they just found in scripts that run on a web page/executed programs?

Yes concerns are over email, flah content, activex content! In fact you name it the hackers have done it!

Just use your protection, ge regular updates! i've started doing a daily check with my norton! And joined microsoft windows live one care! And they found 126 suspect trojans adware spyware etc! Most of which was not a high risk! But I run one care every week or so!

Yes. It is possible. Better to be on safeside. You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
