Will Favre hang it up or return to the Packers or another team ala Steve Mcnair

Yes....He still has the athletic ability (i.e. the arm, legs and head) to play the game and be a top 10 quarterback. He is also playing on the youngest team in the NFL and they still have a chance to finish 8-8 and maybe make the playoffs. That only confirms what Brett said at the beginning of the season ("this is the most talented team I have ever played with"). They are full of young talent that is beginning to get better as the year progresses and they will be better next year. The packers know that Aaron Rodgers is not their guy and want Brett back and Brett wants to come back. He will play one more year, make the playoffs, and who knows what could happen there.

I have hope that he will stay. He is having a better year then I think any Packer fan would have expected. The last several years Brett has had some great games and shown his brilliance and strength as a QB for the team. If the organization could continue to feed him some talent he would be doing great along the team. I would not rule it out...however I respect any decision he makes. He has played for a long time and done some great things for the Pack.

Hopefully he returns in '07. What the Packers need are a good steady Tight End to help them in the redzone. Bubba just isn't getting it done. Rumor has it that they are going after Tony Gonzalez..that would be AWESOME! The defense is finally starting to play well....AJ Hawk was a great pickup for them.

I went to college with Brett at Southern Miss, he's not a quitter....he'll play til his arm falls off.

Yes. He did not disgrace himself this year as I expected. His stats are actually decent and the Packers are still alive going into the last week of the year for the playoffs. This performance from Favre and the Packers far outdistanced what I expected this year. Why not?

I believe that he will come back next year. He is still haveing fun playing football. I think he is going to stay with the packers. He dont want to play for another team but I think he wants to have all of the records.

he's in talks with the Chicago Bears. they're going to sign him for a 2 365 days settlement and he will throw all the video games on purpose helping the Packers much greater. he's likewise in negotiations with the Vikings. If signed there he will do the same factor. With the two team he's quoted as announcing he will positioned on # 6. He a minimum of has the honour to retire being #4 with the Packers.

Farve should retire. His stats of the past four years show he's just a shell of the man he used to be. But his ego won't let him, and he probably will let his heart overrule his head on the matter. He will probably end up as the Muhammed Ali of the NFL. The greatest who ever was, but didn't know when his time was up, and it will cost him in his latter years.

Of course he will, too much money there to quit. The Packers will have another lousy year.

Yeah I think he'll be back as long as he can still compete or until he can win the super bowl
