Febreze will temporarily mask the smoke smell but it won't remove it. The only thing that will remove smoke smell is a good clean washing, and fresh air. Try opening your window for 10 minutes every morning, afternoon and evening every day.

Does deodorant remove sweat smell? No, unless you go take a shower first. Same thing here. If you're talking about a room, you have to open the windows, vacuum clean it etc. then you can use Febreze but if you're talking about clothes, wash them first.

If you smoke nothing will get rid of the smell. However, I’ve had smokers give me stuff and it smells like smoke until I spray it with Fabreze and the smell goes away. The key is when you spray it let the air circulate around it so that the spray doesn’t mold. It does work, just not instantly.

if you check with a industrial warehouse that sells cans of "NO SMOKE" ;it is good but exspensive, you may have to purchase a case of it do not think they sell it individually though ; when i worked at a resort we cleaned the apartments aka units and always after deep cleaning the showers-bathrooms, and rest of the rooms we sprayed this" No Smoke" spray it smells good and the unit smelled like no cigarettes was ever in that unit .or ask Homedepot or wal-marts etc they may have something similar to it that is less exspensive for you to try .
